Overprocessing or Bad postprocessing

How do I know whether a photo has a halo on it? I had been rejected for this photo https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=10435239 and I would want to not make the same mistake again. If that’s the case, I’m also trying this photo tbut I’m also not sure if this has a ‘halo’ too. Thanks in advance!

Very light halos visible, but not nearly as strong as on the rejected image so I don't think they should be a problem.

I'm seeing the image is heat distorted and the tail part is blurry, am I getting it right?
P.S : Just checking my eyes

i think its compression from my side
