  • roeo - prescreening request / editing advice

It's been a while since I have posted here and I feel like my editing may be a bit rusty for the queue standards.
Glad if any of the screeners could give me their opinion on this pics.
    Thanks in advance

I'm not a screener, but they do look good.

Borderline = may or may not be a problem.

                  Blurry is usually not fixable.

I kinda expected heat haze on 2 and 3, so glad to confirm it before wasting time and slots in the queue. Would 4 and 5 be acceptable with a tighter crop or is there any other issue?

Moving on, yesterday I got this rejection for "Too much or too little contrast" (https://www.jetphotos.com/viewqueued_b.php?id=11004264), which surprised me as I thought the photo looked very similar to this one that I previously got accepted in the database (https://www.jetphotos.com/photo/10933121). Just wanted to know if its worth the appeal or if I should reduce shadows/blacks (think that could be the problem) and try again in the queue.

Thanks for your time once more!

Not going to speculate without seeing what you plan to upload.

Borderline but acceptable for me. Appeal chances would probably be less than 50%.

No problem, this would be the newest edits.

Also added the new one for the rejection to check if it's ok now.

1-2. sharpening could be an issue on both. not sure if it's editing or the quality that's the issue.
                              3. don't see a huge difference, but this one would also be ok for me
