Rejected/appealed photo has disappeared

Dear all,

I am not sure if anybody knows what happens. I had a photo rejected yesterday (now this link doesn't work anymore)

due to cropping and I submitted an appeal. And now I found that this photo disappeared from my rejection list and I got an additional queue slot as a result. But I am not able to find this photo on JP either by searching the registration (G-XWBI), the location (KSAN), or my ID.

I would appreciate it a lot if anybody has an idea...

By the way, it has disappeared for a while so I am sure that's not a database synchronization issue.

Hello, I'm not a screener but I would like to point out that I believe this was rejected because part of the horizontal stabilizer was cut off. I may be wrong

That's possible. But I have seen many photos with the horizontal stabilizer cut off and even myself have many accepted. That was part of the reason I appeal, but not the point of this post.

My question was, if the appeal was turned down, the photo would stay on my rejection list for 14 days, and I would not have a new empty slot as I already have now. Now it is neither on my rej list nor the database; it disappeared.

To be correct, I appealed not because this kind of photo was accepted before, but because the cropping is allowed for proper purposes,
but the reason for rejection is not what I wanted to ask in this post...

I think that if you manage to make an appeal successful, it will take some time for the photo to pop up in the database.

Hmmm... I don't think that's the case since I know how long it takes...
