  • Opinions on this shot?

Here is a small version of a shot I considering submitting to the site...composition is a bit different, but I think it works. Kind of.
FedEx A300 taxiing while NWA A319 blasts off. Any opinions? Thanks.

Thanks, guys. Maybe we'll see if the screeners like it. They just rejected this nice shot for "backlit" and "window glare".

It is backlit, the side that is most visible is the 'dark' side.

The sun is shining from the left of the photo and the jet is turned slightly to the right so we see dark fuselage. i don't see the window glare however.

I like the first shot and I like the perspective of the DL shot. I'm always a fan of head ons.

I know it is backlit, but I thought that the overall photo worked and that the lighting didn't detract from what I was trying to show.
Oh well. Can't win 'em all. I'm happy with the shot and that's what counts.
If you like head-on shots, Greg, there will be many, many more posted in the next week or so. I got a bunch ready to go, just trying to get the 99th photo in so I can be picky about my 100th shot on the DB.

What shutter speed/mode have you been using with the 300D?

Also what lens are you using?

I'm curious to find out what other 300D users are using.
