  • Photo tips?

This photo of mine was rejected for Backlit and bad quality, can somebody help me figure out how to improve it? I have yet to post a photo to jetphotos so I'm very new. Have thousands of photos but they keep getting rejected.

    Hi, (im not a screener).
When you get a "bad quality" rejection is because the screener thinks there's no edition that could fix your picture, And in this one the problem is that is backlit (The visible side of the aircraft has the light coming from the back and it's not illuminated)
If you have a different picture of this moment taken from the right side of the truck where the illuminated side of the airframe is visible, then proceed to edit and upload that one. But this one has a 0% chance in my opinion due the backlit which the only way to fix is taking another picture from the illuminated angle.

Yes, just for future referance, please remove any photos currently in the queue you want pre-screened. for now, 1 lacks direct sunlight and quality, 2 looks like it has the sun but also lacks quality, 3 has far too much dead space and no sun, and 4 is backlit, and looks cut off to me

**I am not a screener nor admin**

              Hi Eli,

The 1st picture of the seaplane flying against the gray sky seems pretty dark and a bit blurry. The 3rd one, Alaska Airlines, is also blurry and soft. The 4th one with the clouds has contrast as an issue; It's a bit hard to tell what's going on or where the subject is.

I'm also very new to the forum so I might not have the best advice.

                  Hi again,

Since you are new here, give a look to this forum rules and admins/screeners will be happy to help you anytime:

As there seem to be some unwritten rules that are missed by newer users, here are a few suggestions for when you would like editing advice/prescreening from the crew: If asking for prescreening/editing advice, please title your thread "(username) - prescreening request / editing advice" Prescreening is offered

About the pictures, again, I'm not a screener but in my opinion:

#1 beaver: is blurry/soft and has too low contrast
#2 beaver at the pier: has too low contrast and is obstructed, (maybe backlit im not sure, the light is tricky and hard to tell)
#3 737: is backlit, too far, noisy, and too low contrast
#4 sunset one: is noisy, dark, cutt off and horizon unleveled.
All have in common a little bad quality, maybe could be a bad export proccess or a lack of camera quality. ( The quality could be acceptable with propper edition in my opinion )

Welcome aboard and hope you can improve your pictures with the help given here. You can post your pictures here before upload them to the queue if you want a little help to reduce the posibilities of rejections.

                  Regards
