Thanks for your help! Can you help me find the editing halos on the first photo? I can't find them.
And the contrast on the second photo was just a bit harsh because of the darker ground caused by clouds. That is just how it looked in reallife
Would you say the second photo can get accepted when I adjust the contrast?

Way too much s/h or whatever tool you used. The treeline is literally glowing.

shadows / highlights. Also dehaze clarity can cause halos

Ahh okay. I probably brightened up the shadows a bit too much. What about the contrast rejection reason? Is it too much or too less on the TAP photo?

Not a screener but it seems a bit too strong.

Hi, this photo got rejected before for Bad Postprocessing/Overprocessed : https://www.jetphotos.com/viewreject_b.php?id=12169205
Now I fixed the overprocessing and now it got rejected again but for completely new reasons? I don't get it

I'm assuming it's a new edit from the previous rejection?

I just fixed the overprocessing by getting rid of the halos around a few parts of the aircraft. I didn't change the framing and I see nothing wrong with the contrast at all. The framing does not look off to me either

Framing is indeed subjective (a bit high, but ok for some), but adjusting the processing could not have also conceivably affected the contrast?

Anyway, if you're just here to vent/complain, fine, but if you'd actually like constructive feedback, let me know.`

Of course I want constructive feedback and I am not here to complain, I just want to understand these rejections. Adjusting the processing could have affected the contrast but the question is, is the contrast too much or too little? I personally don't think that the contrast is off and that is why I need help

The main issue is your style of editing (pulling/pushing shadows & highlights to give that dramatic contrast) makes it (contrast) look unnatural. It may look good to you (or others), but we see thousands of images a week and the vast majority don't have such editing, which makes images edited like yours stand out as being off.

For this case specifically, less dramatic (strong) contrast would most likely give it a more natural appearance.

Understood, thanks for the explanation. But I didn't even edit the photo to make it that dramatic. That was just how the contrast was. I didn't use the highlights tool and I also didn't use the shadows tool for that specific photo. I just pushed the whites up by +30 and the blacks down to -30. I also adjusted the exposure of course

Do you think if I adjust the blacks (from -30 to -10 for example) it would look more natural?

                              Can't speculate on something I can't see.
