May I ask about rejections? These photos all got rejected due to being Undersharpened/Soft. I need some some explainations on why they're soft please so that I can improve on my next submissions. Thank you so much.

Not a screener, but soft means you lack sharpening amount in post-processing or it comes from your lens.

I don’t think it’s the lens(I’m using the 70-200mm f2.8L II) so the main problem should be my post processing. How do you guys sharpening your images? I’m struggling so bad with images being soft. I normally sharpened them around 80-90 and that’s all. No adjustment to radius or detail(I’m editing on Lr iPad)

I usually just sharpen (the lowest amount possible) till the details can already be seen clearly.

2 and 4 are not too bad and should be fixable, but 1 and 3 look a bit heat hazed. Probably need to add a bit more sharpening when editing.

Good morning! Are these photos acceptable? My concerns with Etihad Airways and Thai AirAsia are if they're both categorized as Night Shots since photos were taken during the first hour of the day.

                1, 4 soft, compression
                2, 3 soft, compression, contrast

Seriously, I don’t know anymore what I should do with my photos sharp enough to eyes of JP crews and screeners. They’re all very sharp to me even zoomed in and all of them were rejected with Unsharpened/Soft. 4 of them above I tried increasing Radius and it’s still soft and surprisingly with Compression too(how?). I need help badly. 😵

Not a screener but the issue is more of a focus one meaning that the plane is out of cocus. Make sure to set correct AF-Mode and Point when shooting. Increasing radius is going to cause more sharpening artifacts. Compression is due to the image not being saved with the highest quality of jpg with the least amount of compression. Contrast one is quite self-explainatory, mostly due to soft light with clouds.
