  • Color Balance

I used to use "Auto Balance" in Photoshop on most of my photos. But I find that they seem to take on a "blueish" hue. If I don't adjust the color balance at all, the photos seem to appear "reddish".

Every time I try to play around with the Color Balance manually, I can't decide when it looks the best or most natural.

Anyone have any tips when adjusting the colors?

Never use Auto in Photoshop. Always do it manually, you'll get much better results.

But then I can't decide when it looks good.

I'm always like "Oh! This looks great. Oh wait, this looks better...uhm, nevermind, it looked best in the beginning..." etc.

I thought I'd post some specimens up for you guys to play around with.
And please, tell me how much (the numbers) you added or took away from each color.

I never use auto balance. I will manually use color balance slider to adjust colors to make them a little more bold in most cases.

Used to rely on Auto-Balance, but now also do it manually taking care not to let the adding/minus percentage of light slide bar overrun the track !!!
