As most of you have probably noticed, the forums have been buggy the past ~week or so, first being slow to load, and now not allowing images to be directly attached to posts. We have made the issues known to FR24, but so far they have obviously not fixed the problems. As such, I would like to request that you refrain from

Hello, I'm pretty sure I had an old thread that I cannot find anymore, I think it got deleted. If possible I would highly appreciate using this thread from now on, so could I get these five pictures prescreened,
      Regards.

I tried fixing the photos, are these any better. also i suspect that the site I'm uploading my images compresses them and makes them soft so if you care to check it out here is my flickr photostream: https://www.flickr.com/photos/200841926@N02/ ,
          Regards.

Flickr images do seem less compressed, but still a bit soft.

As there seem to be some unwritten rules that are missed by newer users, here are a few suggestions for when you would like editing advice/prescreening from the crew: If asking for prescreening/editing advice, please title your thread "(username) - prescreening request / editing advice" Prescreening is offered

                      Soft, borderline noisy.

                        Thank you for your time,
I tried fixing one of the photos, but after searching through forums I still dont know quite how to recognize softness, so could you help me understand how to recognize softness in an image?

This image still looks a bit soft to me, but i do not know how to fix it, the original image is extremely sharp, might be that i am forced to work in lightroom mobile right now, but it shouldn't be degrading the quality so much. My export settings are: jpg 100% quality, 1280pix.

                        Best regards.

Yes soft. Can't tell if it's lens softness, heat haze, or just bad processing. You can post full-res version if you want to know the answer to that.

Lack of clear definition between hard transition lines is an indicator of softness.

                            Thanks for the help dlowwa,
Here's the full resolution picture, I think there is weird CA around the plane's fuselage, but thankfully that doesn't normally happen.

Unfortunately couldn't upload photos directly to the forum so here's the flickr link:

There is an awful amount of compression on flickr for me, really hope it's not a problem.

                            Best regards.

Full-res is sharp enough, but very noisy. Softness in uploaded version thus likely due to processing/editing/save settings.
