  • Reject appeal

I sent an appeal with the rejected photo 350 (on the account https://www.jetphotos.com/photographer/362088 ), and it was rejected. I disagree.
I was told that the grass was copied in two photos, and therefore the A350 photo was rejected and the SSJ-100 was deleted. Please explain to me what is the matter, or change your mind. The arguments are given below.

These photos were taken from the same spot at different times. So the grass is the same but the angle is slightly different. It is hard to say why one would clone a grass which is time-consuming and generally useless. If you reject A350 for another reason, I can understand it, but I just please return back RA-89109, which is normal photo, but has been deleted.

Please find attached RAW original photos to confirm the grass hasn't been cloned in any way:

Then please explain what happened with the fence in the right bottom corner when adding the raw file exactly over the rejected upload to compare?

The fence was smeared, but this is by no means a copy, this is basic processing. If that's the case, OK. I accept the absence of the A350. But the RA-89109, although it had a fence, it was cut off. Yes, and when I added it, it was accepted.
I will take the rejection of the A350 calmly, but I please return back RA-89109.

Basically, I think the main thing in the photo is the plane itself and its quality. This part is the smallest part in the photo, and even looking closely it can be difficult to notice these effects, therefore, in my opinion, this photo is worthy of being on JetPhotos

        From the upload guidelines:
        6.4 Manipulation

Altering of colors, other than adjusting the histogram and contrast is not accepted, for example: giving the sky a yellow cast to fake a sunset sky.

Black and white photos are only allowed on
        • scans of B/W negatives/slides
        • vintage aircraft or "vintage look alikes", i.e. retro painting schemes, replicas, etc.

Any other colour altering, including fake skies, inverting of colours, etc. is not allowed.

Any other altering during the editing process will be rejected, this means adding things that were not originally in the picture or removing significant elements of the shot.

However, I did not change the colors. The autumn grass is already yellow (this can be seen, including on RAW), the fence is not an important part of the picture, i.e. its removal also does not contradict the rules. In the final processing, it is also absolutely not noticeable any color change or removal of the fence. And this still does not explain the deletion of my other photo, which has already been accepted. The main thing I ask is the return of the photo of RA-89109. I accept the rejection of the A350 photo, although I do not agree with the reason. Please give me a clear explanation of the situation. What is being given to me now is rather vague formulations and rules that I do not contradict. And besides, on Jwt Photos, personally, flipping through, I see a lot of photos with a clearly smeared fence, but there is nothing for them. Just let me know specifically what I did wrong and why RA-89109 was deleted

The picture of RA-89109 also showed obvious cloning patterns, which is why it has been deleted by an administrator.

There is nothing vague about the fact that any form of manipulation in images is simply not acceptable, with the exception of blurring car license plates.

The fact that there may be other manipulated images in the database is no reason to accept yours as well. If you believe there are pictures in the database which are manipulated and therefore should have been rejected, then feel free to forward them to [email protected].

The removal does absolutely contradict the rules. The only thing you are allowed to remove is dust spots, and as Jesse said, license plates can be blurred out or colored in.

May I kindly suggest to reupload and simply crop it in 16:9 ratio? Your fence would be gone "naturally".

therefore, in my opinion, this photo is worthy of being on JetPhotos
If that's your opinion, you are always happy to reupload it again! filling the form does take you 10 seconds... (y)

Can we consider the issue resolved?
