Pre-screening advise requested

Had some rejections, all with reason 'too much or too little contrast'. As I had really tried to avoid these rejections in the editing process, apparently I miscalculated. Can someone please give some more background on why below examples are not good enough?

Poor light due to overcast conditions. Typically not fixable, nor really worth shooting in for JP purposes specifically.

Oh, now I see you have over 3x more photos than I do. I just assumed you were a new uploader. Now I'm confused.

Without any direct light to the aircraft, it will more than likely causes a contrast rejection as the lighting conditions were not optimal/poor and causes editing to be that much more difficult to achieve an acceptable edit for uploading to the database. Feel free to utilize the pre-screening forum in the future, but with poor photography conditions, many of these photos will be borderline at best. Regards
