  • Veeti Alkki - Prescreening request / Editing advice

Hello! Looking to get this prescreened before posting for the first time. Mainly wondering if this will be rejected for the wings being cut off, I have a version where the wings aren't cut off but I personally like this one more since it shows more of the livery.

Crop it tighter or use the other version.

Sharpness ok, but it would be rejected for Cut Off.

            Contrast, soft, too far/centering.

Hello. Made some changes. Added contrast and tried to do some sharpening although I don't really have a keen eye for that so will probably still be soft. Also tried to do better centering but it's a bit hard due to the shape of the DA42.

Also looking to get these others prescreened as well.

Poor centering/framing, light, and overall quality on all of these, sorry.

The shape of the plane has nothing to do with centering. It looks like you are trying to center the cockpit section, but you only need to make sure that the space to the left and right of the whole plane is roughly the same. On e.g. the DA42 you must take care not to cut off the static dischargers on the elevator which you did.

Yeah, it's hard to figure out what is wanted when the info is just "centering" so since in my eyes the original was quite centered I thought that what was wanted was the cockpit being more centered. But now I know.

I'd like to know what exactly I should do with the DA42 picture to make it acceptable or if it's a lost cause. Centering obviously, now that I know the expectations.

Needs to be sharper, and ideally taken in better light. Due to the volume of submissions, we tend to reject anything else (not taken in ideal light).

Hey. I don't necessarily see the issue? It's been edited, it's uploaded how I want to post it.

Unless you're referring to the 500px resolution which I actually have no idea how it happened since I uploaded it like all the others...
