  • Too much JPEG compression.

    Too much JPEG compression.

What does that mean and how can I help it?

    Thanks, Sky

It means your quality slider was at a low position when you saved your image. So the image looks blotchy.

I use Photimpact but it will give you the idea.

On other editing programmes you get a range from 1-12 Saving it at 10-12 will cause little JPEG compression.

Re edit the original photo and save it with a Higher quality setting.

I use ACDsee but I know what you mean with it.
      Thank you very much.
