Screener Comments: Stop marking Night shot.........It is for shots taken at

Note on your photo uploading page:

Night Shot: Depict an aircraft in night/dusk/dawn lighting?
Please ensure that your photos have night/dusk/dawn lighting, and not NO LIGHT type of lighting. Even though the images may have been captured at the times of sunset and sunrise, they do NOT qualify as images in this category.

Edited to add: I didnt screen your image if you're wondering.

It was me, and after screening 20 or more day shots all marked as Night shot I felt it was time to make the point, which I have obviously succeeded in doing.

Sadly you didn't Garry, I rejected a couple of Swiss A340s at SIN from Airbus330fan for that reason this morning and yet what do I find 2000 pictures later? Yes, the same shots reuploaded and still marked as night shots-what a waste of uploaders time, my time and bandwidth. Naturally they have been rejected again.

Irrespective of the fact that I live in London I am quite familliar with the timetable at Changi, the LX 340s are due in at 1815 and generally turn up any time from 1745 onwards, I know this because I used to love shooting the Swiss MD-11 that flew this route as when they got to SIN the light conditions (cloud permitting) were just perfect.

                Now that is remarkably disappointing.

As you say Matt a complete waste of everyone's time.
Some people think that we don't have better things to be doing than re-reject shots already rejected. In light of this topic as well, I find this a blatant abuse of upload priviledges. My feelings are that those who abuse that priviledge in such a manner should have that priviledge suspended.

Perhaps some screeners have more in their life than logging 1500+ posts on a series of message boards?

I have actually been a part of jp staff since about 4/5 months after it's birth.

Sorry for the troubles, screeners. I will try to work on my mistakes. Been making quite a lot of errors lately. Forgive me.

                      Cheers
