I uploaded 42 photos to JP.net yesterday.
Two of them were accepted, but the rest weren't.
I do accept what the screeners decided; however,
I don't really understand some of the rejection reasons.
Perhaps I might do, but I want some advice from you all
as I'm an absolutely newbie and amature
regarding both photography and using photo editor software.
When I uploaded them, I just uploaded exactly what I got
from my digital camera so their quality didn't meet the standard.
I thought they did though.
Anyway, these are some of the 40 rejected photos I have questions about.
Note :
1. All related photos in my hdd have been sharpened
- look clearer then they are shown here.
2. *** is my question.
-------------------
- Bad Info (Aircraft, Airline, Registration, etc.)
*** I'm not sure if the info that bad is 'Boeing 717-2..'
because I chose from the list. If it is, why some other photos
in the database have .. at the end of their model.
If it is not, what should I fix?
Oh there is a small Qantas aircraft far away in the shot
but I don't think it should be considered any more than
background detail as it is too small.
- Undersharpened (Soft)
- Bad Info (Aircraft, Airline, Registration, etc.)
*** Same question as above.

- Undersharpened (Soft)
*** I have made sharpen, more sharpen. Then I think I look clearer.
- Poor Lighting (Too Dark)
*** I don't know how to make it brighter without adding too much noise
- Blurry
- Obstructing Objects/Foreground Clutter
- Wrong Categories Checked/Not Checked
- Bad Quality
- Bad Motive
*** It says blurry here so I would like to know how is it different from undersharpened (soft)
- Window Glare
- Horizon Unlevel
*** I've just noticed that the horizon must be level. Before this
I thought that as the aircraft moves in different directions and angles,
take off and landing for example, the angle of camera is
up to the plane so it can be any angles. I was wrong anyway.
*** Can I remove window glare using PS or anything like that
or do I have to make it clear when I take the photo.
How can I take photo without window glare with glass at night like this?
- Undersharpened (Soft)
- Bad Motive
*** If I want to take photo of check-in counters like this
how can I make it not 'bad motive'?
- Bad Motive
*** This lounge is in the passenger lounge in Brisbane Domestic Airport.
Can I upload anything like this without any plane or terminal building?
If I can, How can I take photo to improve the motion.
- Bad Motive
*** Also this one I want to show the corridor to the gates.
How should I do to improve the motion?
- Bad Motive
*** This is one of my favourite photos actually.
Not because it has a great quality, but it is because
this is the only bird-eye-view of Brisbane I took myself.
I really want to upload it coz one more reason
very few of Brisbane sky view photos are in the database.
Can you give me advice regarding this?
Or do I just have to accept and let it sit in my own collection.
