    Great pics,Sam!And it is true,it looks like it was taken by a DSLR!

    My favorite is this one:

    [photoid=320975]

    Now that i´m starting to like this camera,some questions about it:
    -Is the camera startup fast?
    -Is the zoom too slow(like I heard it is on S5000)?
    -The EVF has a good precision or the LCD is recomended?

    Thanks!

      Thats my second favourite aviation shot. My fave will be uploaded when i get home unless I save it for my 500th.

      Start up is around 3 seconds, which I find is plenty of time cause ive always got my eyes open, only times its not fast enough is when i dont see what i want a photo of till its just about finished.

      From 38mm to 380mm zoom is about 3 seconds, with about another second focusing time.

      Some people complain about shutter lag but this can easily be helped by keeping the subject in focus by focusing on it every few seconds.

      the Electronic Viewfinder has pretty good presision. I always use it as the LCD screen goes through batteries very quickly.

      Anymore questions feel free to ask or PM me.

        Thank you...I´m really considering a C-750..

        Now,the last,and the most stupid question..Does the digital zoom destroys the quality completely or it is just normal(lost of quality but not THAT much)?I´m doing this question just for curiosity..when I´m bored here I can take pics of the very very high acft over Congonhas(where I live) just for fun..

          I only ever use digital zoom to check something very very far away. It destroys quality, but if your just having fun itll be fine. With 10x zoom, you can get photos of a 747 landing around 1400m away. So digital zoom is something practically never used.

              Well, I bought a Coolpix 5700 for my girlfriend today, as she wants to start spotting as well.

              Seems quite ok for the start. (and will be a great camera to take with me on holidays for some spotting )
