  • Are the any Problems with these Photos?

    Hi Everyone.

I went out on Saturday to the Airport. It wasn't the best weather, but for the past week or so the weather hasn't been great, so having not been for 5 weeks, I went anyway.

I was wondering if any of these Photos have any issues which need rectifing? I know they are in the queue, but this is simply because I have searched, and can not find any decent hosting site. Any Ideas?

Anyway, the pics. Somebody has mentioned them appearing soft? Are they correct?

All of them are high in the queue, so please don't hesitate to respond. I know that placing them in the queue first isn't the best thing to do, but I haven't really got much choice.

Thank You for your help and I look forward to your responses, good or bad!

First one might make it with just a kick of USM. The rest look okay but they look like they may be a little compressed. Did you save them at the highest quality setting after editing (12 in photoshop, unless your using paintshop pro).

They all look a little high in the pics. Crop some more of the grass out and you should be fine.

a couple look a bit noisy, and the last looks a tiny bit over exposed (but I thnk thats because of the lighting), but overall I think they're pretty good

Thanks for raising these issues Jordan. I thought the first one might need a bit of Sharpening. As for the compression, I actually noticed this myself aswell. I save in the lowest Compression settings in the Camera, TIFF in Photoshop and then by Jpeg in another programme at 0% compression. When I was saving in Jpeg in Photoshop at 12 (minimum compression) it wasn't working, so I tryed a new Combination.
It has worked so far since I started this combination ages ago, but I did notice that there does seem to be some compression on them.

Thanks for the views Chris, I too think the last one might be a little overexposed. The noise may have something to do with the weather or something else maybe. Still, glad you lthink there O.K.

          Anymore views anyone?
          Thanks,
