Hey there,

does any body know how to take the pictures out of this camera's memory stick to a mac. When I connect it it sais if I want to formatt the memory stick. I do, obviously my pics are errased. Then i disconnect it, i try to take a picture and it doesnt work, it sais FORMAT ERROR!!!!!!!! PLEASE HELP ME OUT!!!

Do you have a card reader that you put the memory stick into? Or do you have a cable you plug the camera into and it reads the card while still in the camera? I think if you search Yahoo you could probably find something. Or you could get OSX with iPhoto and that reads it automatically. Of course that is a last resort cure.

I have the USB cable port type in which i connect the cam to the CPU while its on. I try to take a picture but it then sais FORMAT ERROR. It then have to reformte it to the cameras version and then it takes pictures but It still doesnt read it when i connect it, it asks me to formatt it. How good is OSX???

Do you reformat the memory stick in the camera or somewhere else ??
It is not a good idea to format memory of any sort in anything other than the camera.

Suggest you reformat in the camera, take a test picture or 2, connect to computer while both are off, turn both on (computer first) and see if it will read it then. If this does not work then you may have a faulty memory stick.
