Which one should I upload?

Which one of these would be good to upload?



I'm thinking the second one needs a tad of sharpening. What do you guys think?

How can I avoid getting jagged edges or is there really no way to avoid them? Also what produces the jagged edges, is it just the thing of resizing and sharpening that produces them?

The jagged edges, "jaggies", are produced by sharpening. To avoid jaggies, you must use progressive sharpening. One way to do this, create a duplicate layer before sharpening. Then do your sharpening. Then go back with the "eraser" tool and erase any jaggies. (With the duplicate layer containing the sharpening, the parts you erase will revert to their previous, unsharpened, form and the jaggies will be gone.)

And I prefer #2, but don't go by what I say because I am on a laptop...

What kind of laptop do you have? I have the HP zd8000 I got the 3.6 processor before they changed it.

I tried this process but it did not work. I croped the picture, fixed the lighting, resized, then made the duplicate layer, then sharpend on the duplicate layer, tried to erase but I saw nothing happening.

Along with both of them being oversharpened, I think they look a tad over exposed. Great shots though, I shot that bird in MIA i think....
