  • Rob, it looks a bit dark to me, better check the histogram. And since it is a private you can upload it as business jet.

Georg, I didn't screen it, could very well be that the screener mistook the similar with the previous paint scheme (this pic: http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.p...5727980&nseq=3)
looks a bit soft on the tail and nose, but I would consider an appeal.

    cheers, Pamela

      • Hi,

I wonder, how should I crop this image?

I knew it had a chance of being rejected because it is backlit. It was however rejected because of the aircraft not being in the center. But in this case, because of the angle, do you think that putting the aircraft in the center will do any good to the picture?

I can leave some more space to the left but that would make the glider smaller and the picture would loose detail. I can cut something from the right but that would place the hull in a strange position very much to the right of the picture.

Normally I would go on with the next image but there is only one other frame of this registration in the DB.

I think I need some advice.

        Roel.

        • Roel, it is too low in the frame, not much to do with left or right.

Ok thanks, I see, it's not in the middle.

This is basically the whole frame, I do not have enough space to move the airplane up in the frame. So I guess I'm out of luck with this one.

              - Over Processed / Bad postprocessing
              - Similar photo uploaded

Similar not as this is the first for me in this colors showing the right side. But what's wrong with the postprocessing - weather wasn't the best that day.

              Thanks!

Georg, whilst I realise it was accepted on appeal it looked like your whole shot had been washed out by a noise reducing function of some sort, whether in the camera or in post-processing.

Two, should I select the business jet button during the upload process since it is privately owned but at the same time it is the team plane? Thank you in advance for the help.
Hi Rob, as it is a BBJ Business Jet should be selected.

As for the shot it does look nice, maybe just a little dark. I realise that is hard to correct on such a shiny jet without blowing out the sun glare!

                  • Is this one any better? I tried sharpening it, but I can't tell if it was enough.

                      • Chris: nay, it looks dark, please check the histogram and you will see it has too much contrast.

Will: it is a bit borderline, I would say soft (the windows an doors could have used some extra usm)

                        cheers, Pamela

                        • All right Pam thanks for the heads up!

It's been in screening for the past 4 hours so I can't remove it.

                          • Seems to be a fair bit of noise present in the sky Chris.

                            • I had to shoot this one with my old and crappy p&s. The tail area is severely out of focus on the original, so I applied quite an amount of sharpening. Still wondering though if this is acceptable....
