Very nice picture. After trying different setting with PS I'll give a 0.4 CCW rotation to it. Should be enough.

Evening all
Got this shot of a Learjet 35A from Birmingham/BHX
It made a really shallow climb and was wondering if it is good enough for JP?
It may look over-exposed but that is a big blanket of cloud behind
Many thanksRegards,

Gianluca: your shot has way too much contrast and is oversharpened.

There something weird about this one. It looks as if you tried to oversharpen to compensate for a possible blurriness. I see a lot of jaggies. Is the original perhaps a tad blurry?

Nice one, but unlevel (look at the two buildings in the background). Also, perhaps a tad too dark. I adjusted the midtones in Photoshop (with the curves) and to me, it looks better that way.

Nice one, but in my opinion, underexposed. Of course it enhances the mood at this time of the day, but the dark areas are missing a lot of details. Do you by any chance use the auto-levelling tool in PS?

Not bad for a scan, but perhaps too noisy for this rather common subject.

Technically OK, but a difficult motive. I for one like it and would vote to add it, mainly because of the composition, filling the frame with the wingtips on top right, the engine on the middle left and the gear in the lower right corner. But it's possible, that another screener thinks differently. Give it a chance.

1. Yes, the nose was particularly blurry as a result of the slow shutter speed (time of day), wide open aperture (edges of fame/shooting through fence f/5.6 to minimize DoF), and the aircraft pivoting about the gear as it came down.
2. Will adjust the midtones, but i don't trust the control tower's legs (that's what those things are) as they are slanted.
3. Did not use autolevels, just kicked the contrast way up, the original looks better but I really like the mood here, I like the "pop" the photo has.
4. Well, still workin at the slides
5. Thanks, will give it a shot when I upload the stuff I shot today.
