Hello!
I edited this one again and I think the result is better. 1/10s f/2.8 ISO-6400 handheld wasn't easy to shoot and it's not easy to edit. Any chances of being on JP?

Once I saw this one on DB (http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.p...7130842&nseq=0) maybe it worths trying.
Thank you!Last edited by Guest; 2011-07-30, 22:13.

Hello good friends,
I'm a little confused and needs to your help.
Please look at the attached photo.
I'm sure that all of you know this place ...
Of course, this is runway 28 in Zurich-Kloten, the photos was taken from Parking 6, and I visited there recently.
My question is: how should I align the photos of this kind with the horizon?
Is with the lines of the runway?
Or maybe with the fence?
Anyway with any type of alignment the result will be a curve with another object on the horizon...
I'd love to get recommendations before I start editing photos of this place.
Best regards,
Erez.

Is there any chance for this photo? I was down to 1/80th/F5.6/ISO1600 because it was so dark and there is some blur but I thought it may be worth a try.

It's a bit tricky, is not it?
I would appreciate more answers, thanks in advance.Last edited by Guest; 2011-07-31, 19:11.

I took 2 shots of the same aircraft, but one was at dusk and other at dawn. Are they too similar for both enter on database?

Erez,
Hans is correct, the horizon is off, use the fence or the pole on the left for leveling. The runway would be aligned with the horizon in very few situations because of perspective and runway sloping, if there are distinct vertical elements in the photo - always use them to level the photo.
It is also a bit soft and overexposed. But if you correct the horizon and the softness it has some chance.
Ryan,
Try bringing the levels up a little bit, otherwise it may be rejected as underexposed, just use the right side of the histo. Also, I think the white balance might be slightly off, the sky looks too pinkish.
Vivek,
Overexposure on the window, the seats and the pedestal panel doesn't look good, normally it is a cause for rejection. It also suffers from noise in the shadows, I suppose from the attempts to bring them back to light.
For future reference, always expose the shot with the outside view to get it properly exposed and use the flash to fill in the interior, that way you get a balanced shot.
André,
Nice shots, all of them look good to me!
Hans,
The nose is slightly blurry but I think it has a chance.
