Would this composition work for this one? I decided to try a little different view with these two. I don't really get to see two 747's at the same time so close.

I see what you are trying to do, but this doesn't work. The 747 on the right is the main object but it has a cut off right side, resulting in most of the fuselage that is in the frame being in the shadow (so backlit). The left side of the frame has to much dead space making the total photo top heavy on the right side, unbalanced. I think it could be an interesting shot if you could move the 747 on the right more into the centre of the frame and cut off some dead space on the left side.

Alright, thanks. Unfortunately for some reason I didn't include the full fuselage of the British 747 in any pictures. Don't know what I was thinking when I did that, but thanks, though!

Hi guys,

Just after some opinions on these photos







I haven't uploaded for a while and feel I've forgotten alot of what I use to know. The sharpening method I've used is the one described on Jids website using the stylize function.
I think they may be a tad softer on the image host I'm using, in reality they are ever so slightly sharper, I'm probably more worried about colour casts/saturation/brightness/contrast etc etc.

Matt, not much wrong with your skills. The all need some extra contrast. I don not know if you are still familiar with histograms, but Stefan Kuhn, one of the JPnet crew member, made a very useful guide: http://www.seahawk.gmxhome.de/contrastreject.pdf

About the sharpness, remember it will loose a little bit sharpness when you upload to JPnet, probably comparable to the host you used.
