    Bad angle for that shot. The thrust reverses are to blame for the heat distortion. Bad thing is it is too much distortion to be ignored and too little to give the pic a special effect.

    Try a more frontal angel next time. And check the levels of your pic.

    Ahhhh Not even what I was looking for. I was thinking I'd maybe oversharpened. Thanks for the "not level" comment.... They didn't notice it!!

    If you look closely at the cabin windows you'll see that some of them look a bit irregular. That's another sign of heat distortion on the aircraft.

    Check out the ripples on the top of the fuselage. Look at the tail number as well. The rippling is caused by the heat distortion.

    It's a little unlevel as well.

    Can someone help me out with this rejection? I've seen a number of photos posted where heat vapor is present in the photos. Not sure I understand the rejection. Thanks
