Help with rejected photo please !

I have had this shot rejected for unlevel horizon and undersharpened:-

Is the best way to correct these errors by resizing the image to its original large size and rework it in photoshop or work on my reduce size photo of 1024x ?

Any help would be appreciated

You will have to rework the original-file if available.

Once you resized an image in your case to 1024px there is no chance in "upsizing" it to the original size. Working on the 1024px version won't help you either, it is already
compressed, wich will give you more jpg-compression after resaving it and a new cropping after leveling the shot will give you funny results.

When reworking a shot, always start from scratch!

Puha. Since you asked about it, for once I thought you had saved the 1024 over the original.file ..Its nice to know you still got it. Good luck editing the orig. Great picture though !
