To all that replied, thanks. A couple of things. Unfortunately, I am on the road and I already archived the original image to my external hard drive. Can't get to it until I get home the end of the week.

I will visit rockymountainavphotos and review their stuff. I looked it over once, but need to review again. Thanks for the link. I'll let you know how it goes.

Ever tried progressive sharpening? This could help you out alot, it's explained very well here:

You are using much too agressive settings. Something like 200 0.2 0 is ok for a first try. Better do one or more sharpening steps, then starting too hard.

What settings/method did you use on the original?
A re-work of the original would be the prefered option.

Your edit is extremely oversharpened, try 500%, R 0.2

    Soft/Sharpen question

    Hi,

I uploaded this image and got a rejection for soft.

Here, I have run it through Photoshop and done an Unsharp Mask, amount 80%, radius 1.5, threshold 1. This is the result.

Any opinions on how it will fare, or suggestions on what else to do or do different?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Mark
