Levelling Problems

Sometimes i'm having photos rejected due problems with horizon levelling. Usually I use the ruler tool in Photoshop and then rotate it CW or CCW as needed.

In this photo I didn't level it because I was unable to see that it is not levelled.

Can someone help on this one, is it really unlevelled ?

Joao,
It does need 1 degree CCW rotation. Always zoom in when leveling.....it is more accurate.

You can use any straight objects in the frame, buildings, Light poles, or Towers.
Once yo have ruled out the tool, the CS will automatically calculate how much +- it will need to turn left or right.

yes especially that last one degree.....hence level before cropping,or zoom your crop.
You also have your in-camera sharpening set to "HARD"........change to "NORMAL"

It needs about 1 degree CCW. Don't trust the ligh poles, use the verticals on the building on the left.

Hey Georg.

In your Saab picture's case, the light poles is too blurry to be used, I cant even see the middle of it. Good thing you asked. As the poles can trick sometimes, and you misses a few 0.4 degrees or more.

I used both the light poles and building to measure and to find the exact aligment to vert. and horiz.

Be careful using smaller light poles to level a photo as vehicles do crash into them or they may not have been put up 100% straight in the first place.
