Sharpening help

Hey guys,

last week I took this picture of a Gulfstream @ NUE.



B/c the pic seems to be a soft a wanted to ask I someone can give me some good settings (Photo Shop) how I can make this photo looking better. I do want to upload it...

This is what I have got it to.

Adjusted brightness and contrast.
Leveled the horizon 0.31%
Sharpened to 1x230 .03 .0

Cant do anything about the DHL tail there. Personal collection issue IMO.



But lets see what the others will come up with. They may sharpen it more, or less, making it more bright and so on. You can expect different comments mate ! Good luck !

I would think that would get a "to far" rejection. All the extra space to the left is too much.

Try lookin at it again after an edit.

But I bet other issues in in the question now because of the tail from DHL there.

Sorry, you replied before I got mine in. I was talking about the original in my post. The tail from the DHL plane doesn't block anything from the Gulfstream so I don't see that being an issue.

Both pics just appear too soft & Dark, IMO

* I agree, You could probably edit it better but I have to admit the photo isnt in good quality. Its a bit blurry, cant do much about that , but you can sharpen it more, but you would probably see the "noise and grains" if you oversharpen it. What it need is a delicate edit. Can you cope with that.

Its not a challenge if you ask me !

so itīs propably something for my private collection?

I believe itīs unsharpen b/c the camera propbably focused the tail of the DHL 757...

I tried my luck as well. But the fact, that the original photo isn't of great quality, above all due to the softness and noise and that one has to crop too much into the photo results in a very poor quality. apart from that, that B757 tail is indeed distracting a bit.
