Whats up with the photo ?

Nothin's wrong with it , The aircraft is panned at the right time at the right speed, got it sharp while the background is blurry which was most certainly shot intentionally like this to catch the speed.

Guys are you blind? Look at the Lufthansa titles. They're not sharp, they're panned just a tad like the rest of the picture.

So what ? Maybe we Screener´s made a mistake, maybe we thought that in doubt we should decide for the photographer, maybe it is not blurry

Does this justify posting this pic and openly questioniing its suitability for the databse without the photographers knowledge ? I think not. If you have questions about screening descisions you can always aks one of the senior screeners, if you are not satisfied with the way photos are screened.

Hmmm didnt you said you didnt meant to be mean, well thats what you are right now, questioning the picture as if why it was accepted at all. just because various spots are blurry. Now I happen to like it, just like the screener who screened this, obviously

Now if you go on and try it yourself, I bet you cant get it as sharp like all over it.

My opinion: I like the way he caught the action. Big up for the photog.

Its a panned shot, you cant get it perfect everytime !

But surely this is database worthy enough ...just the way it has been all the time !

Yes there are areas of the plane that is a little blurry, but I think its overall an nice shot. Regardless of what anyone might think of this photo, I don't like these kind of threads where a photographers work is questioned. The photographer has no control what so ever over the screening process. I know that I wouldn't like to see one of my photos in a thread like this, saying how the hell did this crap get in!

If all panning shots were rejected for being abit blurry they'll be none

                          ^^^You got that right...

Look at it in this way !

Our job is to feed the screeners, what they do with the "food" *read photos* is beyond our control. Good One Soren .
