Gregor both links are to the same photo. I'm not at the monitor I normally use to edit photos but on this one the upper fuselage does look burnt out.

Your BA A320 shot looks funky on my screen. Im interested to know how to avoid this although I'm sure to me it looks like you used Shadow/Highlight fuction here ?

Like the way it looks over here, it lacks the contrast now.

I was one of the screeners who screened your A320 shot, it looks like you used way too much shadow/highlight. Very noticeable especially underneath the wings.

I usually only use about 10 on the shadow/highlight tool.

            Hi,
Try to avoid using the shadow/highlight tool as much as possible, especially with shot taken in sunny condition. The 320 is a clear rejection. No need to appeal. the Fokker is not that bad but still overexposed to me.
            cheers

Hi , thanks for the comments guys.

Still not sure about the Fokker being overexposed, while there are some bright areas on it overall i think it is ok, afterall it is a prdominately white aircraft taken on a sunny day.

How about this version of the Airbus?is it worth uploading?

Better but still looks odd to me I'm afraid. How about if you post a cropped and resized but otherwise unedited version of the original?

I took your latest pic and messed around with it somewhat,

Try aim for a bit more contrast under the wings to create a more realistic effect.

Blues look over saturated and there is a lack of contrast. Also the exposure needs looking at. I have also had a go at 'fixing' the image but this is only of demo purposes. You do need to fully re-work the image.
