Too taxi shots of the same plane on the same day are considered similar.

As for the heat haze, it's not from the engines. It's visible all across both wings and on the cheat line along the nose.

Alan, Thats pretty close to similar, two taxi pics not too far apart.

The heat haze in question is in front of the engine exhaust. Note the edges of the engines and the landing gear. The heat haze from the engines wouldn't affect those parts. Must be heat haze from a previous craft or the tarmac heat haze.

        Hope this helps

              Stu,

You have to remember that those photos were uploaded in January 03. A hell of alot has changed since then.

              Cheers,

              Dale

Aren't the photos identical? Or is it just me?

Possibly the photographer uploaded the same photo by accident... It was quite easy to make mistakes a few years back, now it's hard to because you can delete queued photo's.

On the screening page we're now able to see other photos which the photographer has in the database, queue and had rejected of the same reg, the same reg and location or the same reg location and date, therefore it's much easier. Hence why Alan's photo was rejected.

                      Cheers,

                      Dale

                        Hi Dale
Are you telling us that if we already got a reg in our photogs database that the pic will be rejected anyways?
                        Thanks

                        Stu

Not at all Stu, I apologise if it came across that way It's just for reference more than anything. It goes to show though that in Alan's case it was handy for the screeners to know he already had a photo in the database which was snapped within minutes of the other one.

                          Cheers,

                          Dale
