  • Monitor settings?

    Hi,

I have been wondering what other peoples settings are because when I look at photos on other peoples computer they are much brighter then they are on my computer. Is there any real setting that it should be at? The setting on mine is-

    Brightness-47
    contrast-64

Also could this have some effect on editing photos? Because on different computers the photos will look good but now on mine they look kinda dark.

I would guess that it can vary between monitors.

there isnt really and 'settings' for a screen, they are all different. Mine is on 50 Contrast and 50 Brightness, but i dont know if that is ok for mine.

        50 brightness
        85 contrast

when I try to go 50/50 it's just to dark for me.

Contrast 100 is too much. It should be around 80-90 I got told by the support of my Monitor Calibration device I bought last week. For me this thing is way to complicated so I'm selling it now.
