Your second attempt is a little better, however I still see a considerable amount of grain on my monitor. You also overdid it with adjusting the contrast. Can you PM me the original?

EDIT - Agree with Gerardo, the pic looks pretty NeatImaged.

Im no expert but I have to agree that the barb wire kinda distracts you away from the subject.

Yea. The fence at Edinburgh is terrible. It's around 10-12ft.
