  • Rejection

    Hi

I uploaded a photo from Toulouse, which I like, but it got rejected for

Undersharpened (Soft) Fine, its a bit undersharpened/blurry, but
Obstructing Objects / Foreground Clutter andBad motive
are the birds really in the way?

    Thanks
    Douglas

For me, the birds are really more of a distraction than an addition.

What you have is a photo of an aircraft with a flock of birds getting in the way.

For a photo like that to work the birds have to be separate from the aircraft. There is also no point made to the birds being there, that's where the motive rejection came from.

And just a tip for future reference. Next time you appeal a rejection, write something more informative. At least let us know, why you disagree with the rejection.

For me the birds in your shot are distracting, why they aren't in the picture you linked it appears the plane flew through the flock of birds where yours the flock flew infront of you.

                      This ain't a.net - we have standards

I think the birds are a distraction in both shots.

Everything has their place, even the birds. Now, heaven forbid, if you managed to get a photo of a bird strike in progress now that would be a photo worth sharing.
They can add value to a picture
http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5796856 ...... and sometimes they do not. Hands up if you have had a rejection for dust and it was in fact a Crow?
