Cropping/Photo Edges question

I had this one rejected for the reason mentioned, and I'm wondering if the cropping works for the db. I know I have at least a couple similar in composition, but I'm just kinda confused about this one.

I know they've used this before when I've left white edges from not cropping properly but I don't see them on this shot so we'll have to have a screener comment.

There does appear to be a lighter band, maybe ten pixels deep, across the top.

So maybe crop it down closer to the last window something like this?

There's a whopping dust spot above the fuselage, almost the same size as the windows.
