Bad color (Over/under saturation Hue)

Hi there




I had this on rejected for Bad color(over/under Saturation Hue). Is it over or under Saturation Hue?, most of my photos lately get rejected for the above reason. What do I do wrong?

I use adobe photoshop cs2, on the Hue/Saturation window i use 11% increase in the Saturation box for this particular photo.

Frikkie, your photos have a history of a green hue. Do you adjust the white balance at all? While this particular shot is not the worst case a quick adjustment gives you this:

I would say 11% is far too much, personally I only ever use about 4%

Yes i see the difference and, wow there is alot of green hue

There are several ways to do it. I opeted for an easy and quick way with your photo and that was via 'levels' in PS. Just select the white dropper and point at a part of the aircraft you know is white. Later on you can get more advanced but that is a start for you.

I use a NikonD70S, any advice with the settings on the camera to get the green hue out?

You are welcome and that is much better. To avoid the appearance of overexposure try resetting the '255' on the levels page to '250' or so.
