  • LAX 747 shot - worth adjusting/submitting?

I recently came across this shot when uploading some photos to Panaramio. I never thought it would be worthy of jp.net, but I am reconsidering.

    Your thoughts? http://www.panoramio.com/photo/3844388

Hi Dean. Although a bit hard to examine the quality of the actual aircraft due to the size there is also the motive of cropping to include the lamp post. I do not think it's inclusion is warranted. If it was the control tower or another interesting feature by all means, but not a lamp post. Just my thoughts and I would probably screen that way!

      Thanks AJ,

Actually that is the native/unprocessed image (other than Panaramio's automatic resizing). Since it has not been cropped yet, there should be enough data to crop to a smaller size. Once I get more of my recent MHT/LAX photos submitted, I will go back and do some work on this one...

It might work but be really careful looking for heat haze on the full sized image as that can be a major problem when you shoot that direction at In-n-Out. Also watch for excessive grain as you crop it down.
