  • need help leveling please

    I had a feeling this shot was going to cause me trouble and I should have asked first.

    Here is my rejected shot,


    and here's the original, just resized (and saved for web)


    With the tarmac leaning left to right, and the building in the back heading off away from the planes. What's my best reference point to use to level?

    Should I use the grass line under the Pan Am's wing?

    appreciate any thoughts?

    Use the vertical lines of the doors.

      G'day Dave,

      Always good to use verticals, as horizontals can be affected by parallax error.

      In the case of your photo, as Jean-Luc said, use the verticals on the doors. If you look at them now, they're all leaning to the left.
