  • Part of aircraft cut off

    Good afternoon,

This one was rejected for: part of aircraft cut off.

But I see aften photos of aircraft incomplete which are accepted, for instance this one:

    B-KAF of Pawel Fronczak
    at March 08 2008.

    Why is this one accepted?

    What are the rules?

We discussed it in a thread yesterday.

This one doesn't look croped properly. I'd crop it more closer, because here you've got a half engine, a third of the tail and this looks just cut off. I'd cut it right behind the cargo titles or even behind the Dragonair titles and it'll be look much better.

This is basiclly a B747 were you cut off the tail, its not a closeup or anything like that. The angle of the aircraft makes it hard to crop without getting a cut off rejection! YTou could try a crop between the Dragonair and Cargo titles, that might work.

The crop above would work, however to me its much more appealing to have the whole aircraft included, especially from that angle and location you have there.

It was my intention to take a photo of the whole plane, but it came very fast to me, so I had no the time to change my lense. And the location I was is now forbidden, so I had to make the photo very fast.

            Many thanks for your advices.

            Greetings,

            Paul
