  • Help Underexposed

    Hi

Had the following rejected for being dark/underexposed.

Can someone point me in the right direction as to what was wrong.

I had experimented with the levels histogram and could expose the clip more but thought that this was the most natural lighting level.

    thanks

    Graham,

I am looking at your picture on a pretty poor quality monitor at work but I would say that the image is just a tad dark but not by much. It is probably the shadow detail or lack thereof that the screeners objected too. If you can raise the brightness a little and put some detail back in the shadows it should be more than acceptable.

Exposure is a lot better but in doing so, you have created alot of noise in and around the darker areas of the photo. Lightening will do this. Run some ver light noise reduction over it and it should do the trick.

Here is an attempt to get rid of some of the noise. Any good?

            Thanks

              I'd definitely upload this version.
