If you resize now in one step direct to 1024, can you see the defference?
I do it also the same way as you and Hinkelbein and never got a rejection of JPG compression artefacts

When I do it in one step, I see no difference. Nevertheless photos of mine are regular rejected for JPG compression or artefacts.

Do you use the Photoshop noise filter or other different program?
You have to go trough everything looking for the cause

On your Czech photo's the difference is large between with or without the filter. I think we can now say that the filter is the cause like Omar already said.
I should try some different settings and ways of processing. And have a look on the filesizes after you finished the processing

                Please don't.
When you have noise on a particular place in the picture, you can use the select tool ("magic wand") and then apply Noise Reduction or Noise > Despeckle. Works perfectly for me.
By selecting particular places you don't apply this tool to your entire picture, which can actually ruin your picture.

I have got the same problem with this photo On the original sized photo there are no jaggies. When I only resize the photo you see jaggies.

                    The original size is 3413 x 2275 and 4,39MB.
                    I resized the photo to 1024 X 683 and 477kB.

How can I get rid of them?

I had the same, when I was shooting JPG. As soon as I switched to RAW .... no problems! Could also be, that you use some in-camera sharpening. If so, switch it off.

Try resizing in multiple steps rather than in just one. Play around with the number of steps used, you'll figure it out...

Omar, I did not sharpen at all, I only resized the photo

And I had in-camera sharpening off.

And I resize in steps, but the problem stays.

Your last photo's were of december 22. Have you had these problems also on that day?
