Best RAW editing programm?

Hi guys,

Iīm just wondering what you find the best programm to edit RAW files with. I currently use ADOBE Camera Raw 4.5

I have trouble editing photos of Delta planes, all white and in the sun. Itīs crawling with them all over EHAM lately . I canīt get them right: the outcome is either too dark or too bright. Now I wanted to see if I can work with another RAW editing programm.

You should try out ufraw. It's open source, so you can give it a whirl for free. Another program is Capture One. Sandisk used to include the software for free when you bought a memory card. Of course, there are lots of other programs.

I just use CS3 for RAW then just do white balance, exposure, straighten recovery, *shh fill light in the Raw editor then do all contrast and lighting/colour adjustments using curves and sharpening in CS3 main window
