More Centring

Any ideas on how to recentre this to make it palatable? Assuming the other issues can be repaired as well?

IMO, the CRJ doesn't really add that much to the pic, but if it was a larger plane, it would probably have a better chance at it. I'll let the others take a crack at the other issues.

The aircraft is simply too high in the frame, the CRJ and the runway don't add enough to the photo.

If you can, wait a bit longer, so that the aircraft is closer to the runway. That way, you can place the aircraft a bit above the center, the runway below will add enough to the photo

Dave, I had a look at your shots in the queue. The framing on the KLM is now OK, butthe photo lacks contrast. The EK A380 has great chances of beeing rejected for clutter because of the lamp posts. I would delete both photos, forget about the EK and correct the levels on the KLM.
