Hi could someone plz help me on this rejection plz i no how to sharpen the image but i dont understand what Heat Distortion means here is a link to the rejected photo
The first image has the shimmering effect because of a large difference in the temperature between the runway and air temperature because of this the photo will never be acceptable the aircraft is also a little soft in general which means that the image looks flat and the aircraft is not fully defined against the background.
The Thomas Cook is very soft and almost looks blurry again the aircraft detail is very weak and it's hard to see were the aircraft breaks the skyline try 50% USM to start with. The contrast is a little bit weak the lettering looks very milky and pale for that matter the whole aircraft does. Perhaps increase by 10 units and judge it from there.
if someone could help me i will be so greatfull thanx nick
Take a look at the centre of this pic. I added +20 contrast (and it may even take a bit more +contrast) and 5 passes of USM at 50_0.2_0.
It takes out the grey, washed out look.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
