Questiion about a rejected photo

I received a rejection message about a photo I sent, I appealed and is was rejec ted again for similar reason. Dark / Underexposed.

The aircraft is white with a cloudy sky, I still do not see the photo being under exposed or dark. I sent 3 other photos which were accepted, they were taken all at the same time and taken the same way.

Can someone please clarify where it is under exposed and dark ?

Hi there,

To me it looks like the exposure is correct however It looks dull We can see theres a gap on the right meaning the images lacks any highlights. I have adjusted the image using levels and compare the two histograms top being original.

The gap is now closed the image has highlights and is I think correctly exposed.
As shown below.

I think it is still dark. It needs some selective lightening below the wings....

Ryan was right, just a little work on the histogram and it should be perfect.
Ryan's version looks perfect to me now.

I would accept it when she looks like Ryan's edit.
Always nice to get a nice Electra in the dbase
