  • Keep as it is or not?

I took this photo at Denham yesterday and was wondering if I should level it or keep it as it is? I'm not used to GA photography as I cant see a reference point to use as a flat bit except for the livery on the aircraft but yet again the angle of photography is not side on.

    Original:

    Rotated and cropped 3:2:

Also is it good as it is or does it need a little tweaking? As I've said, its my first GA shot of my life and its quite different than spotting at LHR

    thanks!

Personally, I like the second one.
It's always good to get out and shoot some GA and get away from the big boys for a bit. Really brings a sens of refreshment about.
Also, I noticed there's a helicopter taking off on the right edge of the first one. Did you happen to get any shots of that?

Ah, too bad. I think GA photography is a bit more challenging as it gives you opportunities to think outside the box for shots.
And if you get the chance to shoot a helicopter, it's totally worth it. Not sure why exactly, but there's just something about it.
Keep shooting GA and it'll give you great opportunities. That's pretty much how I started out.

iranair777, at the moment it's soft and the contrast is a bit off.
About +20 contrast will do it, and some passes of USM

Why changed to 1024? The bigger pictures seemed great to me, so if you can upload bigger than 1024, I'd go for bigger in this case. The photo looks great to me.

Your rotated and 3:2 crop was the best one.
If it 'ain't broken........ Don't try to mend it !
