New photographer looking for help

Hi Im new here I have taken pictures for a couple year and only have gotten 1 accepted and im looking for feedback on how i should edit or differently take the pictures. Any help is great. Thanks

Hi,

#1: No chance: strong green cast, too dark, not properly framed, horizon is off and the gate obscures parts of the aircraft.

#2: Could definitely be accepted if edited properly, it is a tad dark and could do with a bit more contrast. Another pass of USM as well and it should be ok.

The first one, could be accepted if it looked something like this I'd of thought.
It would need to be re-sized properly from the original.
