  • How does appeal work?

I've a question about the appeal system.

For example:if a photo was screened by screener A and screener B and gets rejected, and screener A or B was a head-screener; is it possible that the rejected picture comes back to the very same (head-) screener or is there always 3rd person involved in situations like this?

Just curous, not to blame anyone or anything.

    Regards

The appeal can indeed come to the same senior screener who rejected a photo or who voted to accept a photoa dn was overruled by two other screeners. But we usually simply leave it in the queue for the next senior, unless the case is 100% clear (for example: rejected for categories and photographers asks, what categories).

      Thanks Gerardo, so far.

One more question: can every (senior-) screener also see the rejection-reasons/ admin comments, given after an appeal?

Yep, call us almighty, if you want

All screeners comments to other screeners or to photographers, the appeal comments by the photogs as well as replies from the admins/seniors are saved in a screening history, which every screener can see.
