cropping and centering

are these pictures acceptable from a cropping and centering point of view?


here I cut off a bit of the wing and the tail


here I didn't center on the plane as it just looks so much better this way, imo!

Hi Ben.

The first one is absolutely fine but the second is too high for JP unfortunately. If there were something of real significance in the lower part of the frame then it might be OK, but the little grey building doesn't really add anything to the shot. It would need cropping more central to be accepted.
