Bad Info: Date??

Hello JP members,

I have upload last week 13 photo`s that i have make in October 23 of 2009 but 5 where rejected for wrong date how is that possible?
I have reply them but this was the answer: According to EXIF the date is completely wrong.
Hope someone can help me.

I checked your EXIF infos on some of your photos in the db. The date you entered on upload differes on every of the checked photo. Now, you could say, the date is set wrong in the camera. In that case the difference your info and the EXIF info would be always the same. But this isn't the case. So, as screener, I wonder, why this is so. Assuming the date is always set correctly in the camera, the screeners rejected for wrong info.

I have checked my camera settings and the date is oke but is it important that exif date?
Or how can i change that date into the date i have realy take the photo`s.
